Hi, I’m Shelley — and I’m so glad you’re here.
Before I was a photographer, I was (and still am) a mom. I know what it feels like to blink and suddenly your baby isn’t a baby anymore.
That’s why I do what I do.
I created Bolton Photographic Designs to be more than just a studio. It’s a place where moms can relax, where little ones feel special, and where beautiful memories are thoughtfully created — not rushed.
I love styling sessions with dreamy dresses, magical backdrops, and soft details that make children feel like they’ve stepped into a storybook. But what matters most to me isn’t just how it looks — it’s how it feels.
My greatest honor is being invited back year after year to document your family’s journey. Watching your children grow in front of my lens is something I never take for granted.
Because one day, these images won’t just be photographs.
They will be part of your family’s history.
And it is truly my privilege to preserve it.
My approach
My approach blends thoughtful design with heartfelt storytelling.
Each session begins with intention — from the colors and textures to the carefully created sets that bring your vision to life. Many of my portraits feature custom-designed environments created specifically for your child, ensuring a celebration that feels personal and unique.
While the setting is beautifully prepared, the focus always remains on your family. I gently guide each session so expressions feel natural and genuine, allowing personality and connection to shine.
Every image is composed with care and finished with a soft, timeless touch — created to be treasured not just today, but for years to come.
